Ingredients
Scale:
- 1 loaf of refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup diced pickles
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent.
- Drain excess fat, then stir in the ketchup and mustard. Season with salt and pepper.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle, approximately 10x15 inches.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and diced pickles over the beef mixture.
- Gently roll the dough into a log, starting from one of the longer sides. Pinch the seams and ends to seal.
- Place the rolled bread seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the top with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow the bread to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
